this shot has alot of potential 
the framing and positioning is done well i wouuldnt of done it any different myself.
but the colours are a bit dull and so is the sky. do you use atou or manual mode? i would suggest manual so you have more control over how you picture turns out (particularly with colour concerning this picture)
one last thing, if its possible wait until it is a magnificant sunrise/sunset or huge storm clouds or something. this will give the photo an amazing affect.
oh and a little post production editing always helps
